The Swiftsure's in Drydocks for the Weekend

Yes folks, the time has arrived. Tomorrow morning is the final part of the move: the furniture is being picked up, loaded, unloaded, elevatored up, and placed into the new apartment. I'll be so glad when this is all over and done with. I have one more load tonight to take over in the car, including the computer. Then it's just the TV, the cats and myself that I have to cart over tomorrow morning with the movers. I'm guessing that by 2PM tomorrow at the latest, Admiral Grannie and I will be unpacking boxes, rearranging furniture, and trying to keep our brood of cats from killing each other inbetween swigs of Strongbow and mouthfuls of Thai takeout.

Therefore, this will be my last post until at least Monday afternoon or, if things go pearshaped, Tuesday. I'll have no internet connection whatsoever, so I won't be able to play Scrabulous, answer emails or leave witty pirate-themed comments on anyone else's blogs. Miss me.
